upgraded 3.1 to 3.1.2, support menu still says to upgrade
#1
Hi, I have successfully upgraded from 3.1 to 3.1.2.
All of the site works OK, but the support menu still shows an "!" and states that I should upgrade to 3.1.2

btw, I checked admin/inc/configuration.php and the version is 3.1.2

As I said it says that upgrade to 3.1.2 is needed and the support button indicates a yellow exclamation mark. Everything else is OK in the health check.

Also - I have upgraded all plugins to the latest version and everything seems fine.

I have downloaded the install from the official stable download link for 3.1.2, couple of hours before I posted the first message.

I am not seeing this issue on a fresh install, unless some file failed to write on your install
Try re downloading and reinstalling ?

I tried that now, again the same.
The same happens both at the hosting provider (uploaded new files for upgrade via FTP) and on my laptop (ubuntu), where I just followed the upgrade steps. All overwrites succeeded, logs are all OK.

Any idea how and what to test if the version check really works ok?
No problem for me to touch PHP code, just point me to the place if you have an idea what could be wrong.

You aren't by chance using the SVN are you ?

Try wiping your cache files out. data/cache *.txt

admin/health_check.php #41

Code:
echo '<pre>'.print_r($data,true).'</pre>'; // echo api response

                if ($verstatus == '0') {

I didn't have time to thank for the help previosly, after trying to echo as suggested, I realized that the change did not execute, and finally I saw that in fact the whole admin folder was renamed to something else, so I had been upgrading and chaning in the wrong place. My bad.
