Hi!
When hosting a GetSimple at one.com I needed to comment/delete: Options -Indexes
in the .htaccess file. Got that from the support since I only got Internal Server Error after install.
Maybe this could be added to
http://get-simple.info/wiki/installation...ebhosters?
And before I dive in and learn all about .htaccess files could anyone answer how this will affect the site?
Best regards

if you set Options Indexes, or default apache (or your hosting account) setting indexes the files by itself, directories without default handler (let it be index.php / html) will list all files they contain.
Create a directory, upload couple files into it, create .htaccess file containing only Options Indexes, and see how it works.
ps. all .htaccess directives and rules in GS works only under apache webserwer.
Addons: blue business theme, Online Visitors, Notepad

Thx!
My private servers have indexing on by default but the web hosting company seems to not allow any indexing which would explain the internal server error.

I just did. Getsimple seems to work with option indexes uncommented:
# Options -Indexes
I still have no clue what that function does tho. But at least getsimple will work on One.com webhosting if you uncomment Option - Indexes in the .htaccess file
