Hello, I've made a website in GS. Created multiple pages and added to the navigation. Al work just fine expect one, the link "Events". Where you would expect the "Events" page, I get a "Page not found" error message. Stange, the pages under "Events" remain accessible if you link directly to it.
I'm using the i18n plugin fot the navigation.
Website:
http://www.shiftinglands.com/index.php
The 404 page:
http://www.shiftinglands.com/events/
The strange page:
http://www.shiftinglands.com/events/crisis-2012
Who has idea how to solve this?
Greetings Tom.

.htaccess file is default. I've made no changes. And If I read the .htaccess file I can't find anything related to
events .

Sorry, no clue...
I've found something strange:
http://www.shiftinglands.com/events (no trailing slash)
redirects to
http://www.shiftinglands.com/events/ (trailing slash), then error 404
The redirection doesn't happen if you try this with other pages of your site.

When I rename "Events" to "Event" the link works perfect. I also changed the Custom URL (Slug) from "Tutorial" to "Events" and the same problem occurred.
So it is in the slugs name "Event".
I find it all very weird.

do you have a folder name "events" on the root of your site?

or I wonder if its anything to do with your original site having an events.htm file in the root.
Can you rename that file to something else and see if it fixes it.

Yes! Renamed events.htm to something else and the problem is solved.
Thanks all.
