Unzipping Archived site

Hi all...

Anyone experience this.

I am able to archive the site. When I download the zip, it seems to load another zip.cpgz and doesn't open

Any suggestions...thank you!!!

Does not sounds familiar, never saw anything like that.

What is a cpgz file ?

Google is your friend, i am assuming you are on a mac

I tried all of those methods. None of them work for me.

What I did notice is when I download the zip via FTP it is fine and if I download via the admin area the zip gives me the infinite loop.

mysite.com/admin/download.php?file=/home/rooseinv/public_html/backups/zip/2014-01-28-1527_27_archive.zip&nonce=d903d3b6d6d2350a9688a04a277e1c3072ff6ccb

what is this string on the end? Does this have anything to do with it?

your host is probably not sending proper mime headers for zip files.
