Displaying link lists for child pages
#1
Hi

I have a main page, Cat A. As children I have, Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3.
Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 have their own sub-pages.

I'd like to display on page Cat A the links for the sub-pages of Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 however the links need to be separated into panels on page Cat A, e.g.

Cat 1 Title and image
link 1
link 2
link 3

Cat 2 Title and image
link 1
link 2
link 3

Cat 3 Title and image
link 1
link 2
etc

Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 pages will never be seen. The links on Cat A go straight to the sub-pages. The reason I've separated them into Cat A, Cat B and Cat C is so the link lists can be separated as shown above.

I have I18N installed but don't want to use the link list plugin as this means everytime my client adds a new sub-page under Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3 they would have to manually add the page to the link list.

Ideally the list of links would be dynamically added to Cat A page when new sub-pages are added to Cat 1, Cat 2 and Cat 3.

Have tried a number of workarounds but not being a PHP expert my head is battered! Any help greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance.

I would use i18n plugin, it has excellent menu generation options.
