Uploading animated GIF

Hello!

When uploading an animated GIF in the admin area, the result is a file without animation. So I think it looses all but the first frame when being uploaded.

Does anyone know the reason for this or maybe even a solution?

The thumbnail probably does, the gif itself would not be modified.

I just installed a fresh GetSimple – and you are right, it's working.
Must have been a problem with some plugin I used. Thanks!
