To get the language support to work in contactform.php you must add GLOBAL $i18n; to the top of set_contact_page() in contactform.php

I think you’ll be seeing the standard contact script disappear from the code before we would make it available in different languages. We’ve already been planning to phase out the contact form since mid-February.
