I thought about this solution Timbow, but.. well it's not so good as a real forum. ^^
Hum... and what about a forum working with a SQLite database?
Advantages:
* A lot of different forum software available. (Including the one your're using right now! [MyBB])
* Still easy to backup : a SQLite database save everything inside a unique file. Maybe it's even possible to put this file into the Data folder, so the db will be backup each time your're using the integrated backup GS system.
Disadvantages:
* In comparison of a real big database system like MySQL or PostgreSQL, SQLlite will suffer of performance problems if your forum increase too much. Also you won't be also to manage too much users on the forum at the same time.
These disadvantages also occurs if you are using a php+xml forum!
