Website Integration - Existing Site
#1
Hi,

Been a while since I've posted but I've been working on a website using HTML/CSS and JavaScript, with PHP.

I'm familiar with the Perch CMS and like how it can be easily integrated but of course I am not so fond of the SQL side of things, i.e. when moving web hosts so I am coming back as it were to this.

Can anyone therefore tell me, how I would go about integrating such a site so that I can simply "inject" elements of the CMS rather than it being mandatory to having each and every page instanced by the CMS?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

GS is not made to do this, it is made to use templates and IS your site, is is not a integration CMS

However it is possible with a little coding, and will be incredibly easier in 3.4 version because I added support for it.
As of 3.3.x you will have to look at index.php and see how it works, and include common.php and write your own logic, and deal with include pathing abnormalities.
