Menu-Item just as node for jumping to a lower item

Hi,
its possible, to hold a menu-Item as node, just for structuring,
without content? I can´t find that ...

I have an item on level 1, with three lower items and wish,
that, if click on this level 1-item, the next hierarchically following
level 2-item opens.
