Ok, my first post here, I think!
I was doing a small website and found that GS lacks any user-friendly way of adding media (mp3 files in my case) - all audio plugins seem to be deprecated, so I had to spend some time on a reasearch.
My starting point was:
http://www.designyourway.net/drb/jquery-...r-plugins/
After deliberate lurking through documentation I stumbled upon demo here http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soun...mp3-links/ which was just what I looked for: you just type a song name, add a link to an mp3 file on the upload folder (via editor in backend) and that's it! The script turns all mp3 links to playable files. Sweet!
Here's the process download the pack from the http://www.schillmania.com/projects/soun.../download/
Find the folder with mp3 links demo.
I copied soundmanager2.js and inlineplayer.js to my template folder and added css file included. Bear in mind, that demo has non-minified js links by default - you have to change them to min. versions after debugging.
So now the process of adding new music is more or less friendly have an easy way of adding music to his website.
Hope this small hack helps.
