PROBLEM username and password incorrect

Hi,

I am trying to access the CMS of my website, but both my username and password are incorrect. I am pretty sure at least my username is correct... But I can't request a new password when my username is not accepted.
So, in other words, I can't access my CMS and update my website. Is there a way to solve this?

ftp to it and change the password to a sha1 in side the users/user.xml file
