QUESTION CKEditor issues
#1
What Are you guys using besides CKEditor or what are you doing to make CKEditor have less usability issues?

Here are my examples in the advanced CKEditor settings.

Table property missing background images or a way to set them.
General issues all around in managing tables width and height.

No Support for DIV or better inline elements.
I would like to implement a nice work around I found using bootstrap widgets for Drupal but obviously will need some work to make it good for GetSimple.

Anyone done this?
Give your content authors the ability to add responsive layout elements to their pages. CKEditor widgets are provided for common Bootstrap layouts:
  • Left sidebar image

  • Right sidebar image

  • Two columns

  • Three columns

  • Alert box
Each widget can have its own button, or you can use the Widget Template Menu plugin to create a dropdown menu of templates.

FYI, the GS Plugin for GSCkePatch overrides Ckeditor 3.x with Ckeditor 4.4.7 on edit page
is coming in handy. Lets me test this out and swap in and out CKEditor plugins without touching the native CKEditor directory.
