So Basically. In the site i've made when I create a new page it doesn't show up on the main site. I can access the post my going on to the post link but I thought with this cms you could make it so on the main page each new blog post would be on top of each other. If you know what I mean?!?!
I don't want to add the posts onto the menu either because I want to post regularly

You can blog with GetSimple. It works well. But it isn't primarily a blogging platform. It's a CMS for making sites with pages in the menu. If you want a blog I would recommend the
News Manager (updated) plugin and in no time at all you will have it set up to display posts as extracts in reverse date order with an image for each one on your index page.
Oh, and welcome to the forum and feel free to ask again if you are stuck.

By the way, current News Manager (updated) stable version (2.4.4) doesn't support post images, that's in the beta version.

Or for a nice, small, standalone, self hosted, flat file, free to use, easy setup, customisable blogging platform you might look at
nibbleblog .
