Getsimple Portable 3.1.2 English version

Just un-rar the download to anywhere on the Windows installation (either the internal hard drive or a USB key).

Double-click the GetSimplePortable.exe file in the unpacked folder and that's it. It starts a webserver (together with other requirements of the server stack) and puts a GS icon in the taskbar. Click the GS icon and select 'Launch'. This will start the default browser and open http://127.0.0.1/GetSimple.

Log in to the admin interface at http://127.0.0.1/GetSimple/admin; username: admin, password: admin.

The rest, as they say, is easy. ;-) There is nothing to install and it leaves no mark on the host Windows system. All the GS folders are accessible from the Windows file manager in <parent folder>\App\GetSimple.

(This is based on using the French version: I can't imagine that the English version can be very different.)

excellent! everything has been said simply

This package type is interesting for anyone interested in testing getsimple, without using an account on a remote server.

But also for anyone wishing to develop sites with getsimple, knowing that you can "copy" this package many times and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Sure there are other processes that do the same thing (but often heavier with a "duty" to manage mysql). With this pack the advantage is definitely the quick start.
