GetSimple does not use PunBB I’m afraid, we just run an installation of PunBB here to offer people support. There is no integration there at all, so it doesn’t support any form of single sign-on.
I’m afraid I’m not really clear on what you mean by “updating a blog entry though codeâ€Â. But I think I’ll have to say no as there is no fully developed blog plugin for GetSimple out there, (please correct me if I’m wrong).
You could probably get your idea to work, but it will involve quite some coding. You might be better off finding a CMS that already has integration with a forum figured out.
