thumbnails
#1
I got 2 questions about the thumbnails:

1. The filenames are "thumbnail.image.jpg" and "thumbsm.image.jpg".
Are there any problems using "." in the filename?
(It's working fine for me - just want to know it...)

2. If you upload a lot of pictures using ftp - do you have to create the thmbnails on your own?
(I've noticed that the mini-thumb is auto created by get simple always.)

If you need the thumbnails for a picture gallery, you may want to use the I18N Gallery plugin, it automatically scales images and creates thumbnails, whenever needed (also after an ftp upload). You can even have galleries with different thumbnail sizes.
I18N, I18N Search, I18N Gallery, I18N Special Pages - essential plugins for multi-language sites.

Thanks! I've already noticed that plugin and it's the next one I'll try out.
(still testing search and hit count)

But I'm not looking for a picture gallery (this time)...
