how to move website

Hello.

How easy/safe is it to move a getsimple website on my server to another location or change it's url subdomain?
Do I need to manually check/correct each page?

Documentation mentions that image url may be absolute using the rich text editor... is there anything else to look out for?

It is easy and safe, but still backup carefully first.

The links which are troublesome are absolute links to files you are going to move or delete. Not necessarily only images or only from the editor. It can be confusing, because you move your site, test it, everything works fine so you delete the old one then you find all your links are broken because they are still pointing back at the old location (which is gone). We've all done it.

Oh, and don't forget to reset the url of the site root in Settings.
