Blog Capabilties

Alright, I think this is probably something obvious that I am missing, but how do I use this as a blog? I mean, I know how to create the pages, and I know how to create the main menu items, but I don't see a way to create new entries (pages) that can be automatically displayed as a list for people to visit like most blogs do. I don't want to create a complete website with this, I was hoping to just create a blog that I could use as an alternative to Blogger.

Can someone help me out?

There are plugins that extend GS default capabilities, e.g.:

I have set it up, and it looks like it will work perfectly for what I need.
