I am looking for forum moderators, we have had a massive influx of spammers.

I need volunteers for spammer moderation.
We use the purge spammer plugin, so it real easy to remove spammers and all their posts with 1 click, but I need members that are on the forum alot, or have time to check in everyday and check for spam.

I literally have to remove stuff every morning CST.

I also need someone to do the legwork of researching and recommending mybb spam prevention methods, It takes a bit of time to follow the forums and plugins for working solutions, as plugins stop working are unsupported, or break after upgrades ( this is what has lead to our current situation ) several plugin no longer are working to prevent link posting etc.

Read the spam forums at mybb and find UP TO DATE solutions for us.

I do not have the time to maintain the code, forum, and mybb install all by myself.

Hey Shawn,

I'm still still here daily checking the forums and deleting spammers whenever I see them. There are obviously a few getting in between me going to bed and you guys in the US. I'll keep at it....

I fully agree with that. It hurts to see all that pharmacy spam.
I also offered my support to remove spam from the forum,
but so far no line from Shawn.

We have the goodbye spammer plugin its one click to remove all posts and ban user
Ill give some more moderator permissions just pm me.

You have to be responsible, you can delete alot of stuff if you are irresponsible.

A 500 error is well known and easy to resolve.

Did you develop your website locally on your computer ?
Did you develop your website in a subfolder in your local server ?
Check the following:
1) check that directories and files have permission set to 0755.
2) check the Rewritebase rule in the .htaccess file on your online website
remove the subfolder path if any:
RewriteBase /subfolder/ change into RewriteBase /
3) check you have the same plugins installed in your online website
4) check you also uploaded the data folder
5) If your hoster has php 7.x active, check your plugins compatibility with php 7.x

Please let us know if this has resolved the 500 error

The site says "You are currently using 204.2 KB of your allocated attachment usage (500 KB) [View My Attachments]"

Is this a problem?

Yes the forum doesn't allow much attachment size but no problem
if you want you can send me a download link for that template,
or send as attachment to my email address: ********
I will fire up a temporary online server to find the 500 error
But I need to know also what plugins you used and the data folder

Hi kazu2015,

I received your theme and have activated it
in a local GS on my laptop and in an online GS
on http://showme.hostfree.pw/

In both I used GS version 3.3.16
=> but in both I cannot reproduce the 500 error.

I suggest you turn on Debug Mode in your GS installation,
just do the following:

in the root of your GS installation you will find a
gsconfig.php file

Open gsconfig.php in a code editor and look for this:
# Turn on debug mode
#define('GSDEBUG', TRUE);

Remove the # in the line #define('GSDEBUG', TRUE);
so it looks like this:
define('GSDEBUG', TRUE);

Then try your theme again and hopefully a detailed error
message will appear telling you what the problem is.
