QUESTION Any plugin for password-protected pages compatible with 3.3.x?

Hi there,

I'm wondering if there's any plugin to password-protect pages/ links to files, compatible with GetSimple 3.3.x. I've looked at Front End User Login, but unfortunately this breaks the website with a 500 timeout.
The plugin also mentionsto be compatible only up to 3.3.1

Anyone know of a good plugin to achieve this feature? If not, is there another way?
